In addition to the meals and protein drinks, you can assist your progress by taking a few food items that are full of beneficial nutrients. These items should be used to boost rather than replace your other meals.

Liver tablets are a great way to get high-quality protein in a small package. Additionally, liver tablets also contain a rich abundance of the B vitamins, iron, vitamins A, C, D, and the minerals calcium, phosphorus, and copper. You can carry a bag of liver tablets around and pop them into your mouth when you don't have time or opportunity to have a full meal but still need the nitrogen boost. Additionally, they are fairly inexpensive.

Alfalfa tablets are also great. Alfalfa is referred to as nature's "wonder plant" and provides one of the richest sources of vitamins and trace minerals.
